My mother, raised in the simple streets of Sa Đéc, Vietnam, carried with her the warmth of family and the lessons of perseverance, which cemented my values. My grandfather, a translator fluent in Vietnamese, French, and English, embodied adaptability, guiding our family through new beginnings as refugees in the U.S. In our home, coffee wasn’t just a drink; it was a ritual, a connection to our past, and a taste of the authenticity my grandparents preserved
From a young age, I experimented with cooking and baking, sharing dishes with friends and family always drawn to the idea of blending tradition with something new. My journey into coffee became a continuation of that passion, inspired by the bold, sweet, and complex notes of Vietnamese cà phê but infused with a modern twist
